Hester provides practical strategies that encourage communities to adopt sustainable habits, enhancing both environmental health and quality of life. This work aligns with her advocacy for "Sustainability-Prosperity," a framework she developed to guide cities and towns towards a greener future.

Hester's scholarly efforts have led to the establishment of the "Community Sustainability Model," which is detailed in the academic publication, The Guide to Sustainable Communities (Oxford University Press). Her insights shape her consultancy services and hands-on workshops aimed at promoting eco-friendly practices. Following her inspiring TEDx talk in March 2024, Hester has been invited to speak at various summits and advises international organizations on achieving "Sustainability-Prosperity" in their regions.
