Isaac Nathaniel Wright

Isaac Nathaniel Wright, Ph.D., is a distinguished professor of Cognitive Science and Business at Boston University. He earned his B.A. in Psychology from Harvard University and his Ph.D. in Cognitive Science from MIT. Over the past two decades, Isaac has authored more than 200 scholarly articles exploring various aspects of cognitive processing, including memory enhancement techniques, problem-solving strategies, artificial intelligence applications, user experience design, and the psychology of leadership.
Since joining Boston University in 2010, Isaac has been instrumental in launching the Center for Cognitive Technologies, which he now directs. The center focuses on integrating advanced cognitive science with emerging technologies to improve everyday life. Prior to this role, he was the managing editor of the Journal of Cognitive Engineering for 7 years and continues to contribute as an editorial board member for several leading journals in the field.
Isaac is also known for bridging the gap between academia and the public through his engaging podcast "Mind Matters," broadcasted by WBUR Radio in Boston. Alongside his academic pursuits, Isaac enjoys sharing insights on how cognitive science can be applied to real-world challenges, making complex ideas accessible and interesting to everyone.
