Isabella Young

Motto:Dream big and dare to fail.
Isabella Young, a licensed clinical psychologist and former history teacher, has made a name for herself by bridging the gap between historical events and modern psychological theories. She is the author of "Echoes of Time: Unveiling the Psychological Legacy of the Past," a book that delves into how our understanding of history can inform contemporary mental health practices.
Isabella earned her Ph.D. in History from the University of Edinburgh, where she specialized in 19th-century European social movements. Following her academic pursuits, she took up positions as a senior lecturer at the University of Glasgow and was a visiting scholar at Harvard University and Oxford University. Her passion for helping people led her to volunteer at a local community center in Edinburgh, where she provided support to individuals dealing with personal and social challenges. This experience ignited her desire to deepen her knowledge in psychology.
Deciding to follow this new path, Isabella enrolled in a Master's program in Clinical Psychology at the University of St Andrews, graduating with distinction. Today, she runs a thriving practice in the heart of London, where she specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy and works closely with clients to navigate the complexities of their emotional and mental landscapes. On March 22, 2024, Isabella delivered a keynote speech at the International Conference on Historical Psychology, sharing insights on how the echoes of past events continue to shape our present-day lives.
