Isadora Marquez, Ph.D., is a dedicated educator and current Chair of the Department of Cognitive Sciences at the University of Barcelona, Spain. Her academic journey began with a master’s degree in Cognitive Psychology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, followed by a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the prestigious Pompeu Fabra University, specializing in Neural Mechanisms of Learning and Memory. After completing her doctoral studies, Isadora furthered her expertise as a research fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Leipzig, Germany.
In 2023, she moved back to her hometown of Barcelona and took up a position as an Associate Professor at the University of Barcelona. Here, Isadora has been instrumental in developing innovative educational programs that integrate technology into traditional learning environments. She has published more than 60 articles in high-impact journals on subjects ranging from Neuroeducation to Artificial Intelligence and its implications for human cognition. Her work has earned her recognition in the form of several prestigious grants and accolades.
Isadora's book, "Neurokeys to Unlocking Your Potential," offers practical insights into how individuals can harness their brain's capabilities to improve personal and professional outcomes. Beyond her scholarly pursuits, she is committed to community outreach and frequently contributes to public forums and online platforms like her blog, The Synapse Chronicles, where she discusses the latest in cognitive science and shares tips on optimizing mental health and productivity.
