Ivy Johnson is a dedicated educator at Greenfield Community College. Prior to joining academia, Ivy spent years in community outreach programs; she was the coordinator of an urban youth empowerment center and served as the director of a local environmental conservation group. With over two decades of experience and passion for social issues, Ivy remains an influential figure, known for her engaging workshops and insightful contributions to the field.

Ivy earned her Ph.D. in Sociology, with additional qualifications including an M.Ed. in Education Leadership and a BA in Environmental Studies. Among her numerous articles and presentations, Ivy recently authored the well-received book "Eco-Warriors: The Next Generation," published in 2023. She is also working on her next project, "Sustainable Futures" (expected release: June 2025), which explores innovative approaches to environmental education. Her expertise lies in promoting sustainability within communities and enhancing awareness about climate change among educators and students alike. Ivy is certified in permaculture design and has been recognized for her work in integrating sustainable practices into everyday life.

She calls the vibrant city of Portland, Oregon her home, living there with her partner and their rescue dog, where she enjoys hiking and participating in local farmers' markets during her free time.
