Ivy Kennedy

Ivy Kennedy is a dedicated clinical psychologist based in San Francisco, California. With over two decades of experience, Ivy has carved out a niche for herself as an expert in mental health and wellness, focusing on stress management and resilience building. She runs a thriving private practice from her home city and serves as a consultant for various wellness programs across the country.
In 2023, Ivy authored the critically acclaimed book "Mind Over Matter: Strategies for Stress-Free Living," which offers practical advice on navigating life's challenges with grace and poise. This publication followed her earlier works, "The Power Within: Unlocking Your Inner Strength" (2015) and "Resilience Revolution: A Guide to Thriving in Uncertain Times" (2018), both of which have been instrumental in helping countless individuals find their path to personal growth.
A graduate of Stanford University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree with honors, Ivy went on to complete her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at UCLA. Her postdoctoral fellowship was completed at the renowned Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Oakland, where she specialized in cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques.
Beyond her clinical work, Ivy is an active member of the American Psychological Association and has served on its board since 2020. She is also a fellow of the Northern California Academy of Medicine and holds an adjunct faculty position at UC Berkeley, teaching courses on psychological well-being and community mental health.
In recognition of her contributions to the field, Ivy was invited to join the editorial board of the Journal of Positive Psychology, contributing articles that explore the intersection of psychology and everyday living. Her insights have been featured in several prominent media outlets, including TED Talks, where she delivered a speech titled "Embracing Change: How to Build Resilience in a Fast-Paced World."
