Born and raised in Vancouver, Ivy Wilson earned her Ph.D. in Environmental Science from the University of British Columbia. She has lectured at universities across Canada, including the University of Toronto and McGill University. An active researcher with a global perspective, Ivy explores innovative solutions for sustainable urban development and climate change adaptation through an interdisciplinary lens. Her publications include "Cities of Tomorrow," "Greening Urban Spaces," "Sustainability in Practice," and "The Future We Choose: Climate Action Today." Outside of academia, Ivy enjoys photography, exploring local farmers' markets, and cycling through the scenic routes of her hometown.

In the spring of 2024, Ivy embarked on an ambitious project to transform an abandoned industrial site in downtown Vancouver into a thriving community garden and educational center. Working closely with local residents, city planners, and environmental groups, she aimed to create a green oasis that would not only beautify the area but also serve as a hub for learning about sustainability practices. This initiative was part of her ongoing commitment to fostering stronger, healthier communities through environmental stewardship.
