Jabez lives in Austin, Texas. For the past two decades, he has been an active contributor to The Austin Chronicle. His insights have graced the pages of Wired Magazine, Outside Magazine, and a host of other digital platforms. Jabez is also a novelist, having penned several books that explore the intersections of technology and human connection. He writes scripts for podcasts, documentaries, and online series. This December, as winter sets in over the Hill Country, Jabez can be found not only writing but also hosting storytelling events around the city. In his writings, he weaves together tales of everyday life with deeper philosophical questions, inviting readers to ponder the mundane and the profound. Professionally, Jabez works full-time as a tech consultant and educator, teaching courses on digital media and creative writing at the local university.
