Jesus

Motto:Every mistake is a stepping - stone to something better.
Jesus Martinez, a dedicated sports enthusiast and certified performance coach, has been the driving force behind Mexico City's adaptive cycling team since 2018. With his guidance, the team has claimed two Parapan American gold medals and several national championships. Jesus, who holds a Master’s degree in Sports Science, has not only coached professional athletes but also worked closely with community sports programs aimed at empowering youth through physical activity.
Born and raised in Guadalajara, Jesus found his passion for cycling early on, competing in various regional events throughout his youth. After moving to Mexico City to pursue higher education, he quickly became involved with local sports initiatives and never looked back. His work extends beyond the track; Jesus volunteers his time teaching life skills to adolescents in underserved communities, focusing on leadership, resilience, and personal growth.
In addition to coaching, Jesus is an advocate for integrating mental health support into athletic training. He believes that every athlete should have access to psychological resources to enhance their performance and overall well-being. As part of this mission, he partners with organizations like the Mexican Institute of Youth (IMJUVE) to provide workshops on mindfulness and stress management techniques for young athletes.
Through his efforts, Jesus aims to build a more inclusive sports culture in Mexico, one where all individuals can thrive regardless of their background or abilities. His vision and commitment continue to inspire both current and future generations of athletes across the country.
