Johanna Miller is the author of seven novels, including her latest release, Whispers of the Heart: A Journey Through Life's Seasons (Penguin Random House). Her 2018 novel, Beyond the Horizon: Exploring New Worlds, was an unexpected hit that resonated with readers across different cultures. Johanna has dedicated much of her life to environmental advocacy and serves on the advisory board of the Earth Conservancy as well as acting as a trustee for the Green Future Institute, which focuses on sustainable development and climate change research.

A passionate advocate for nature conservation, Johanna has been featured in interviews on BBC World News, CNN’s Global Exchange, and NPR’s Fresh Air. She has also been part of documentaries aired on National Geographic Channel and PBS Nature, exploring topics ranging from wildlife preservation to renewable energy solutions. Johanna has addressed audiences at prestigious venues such as the Royal Geographical Society in London, Oxford University, Cambridge University, and the University of Edinburgh. Additionally, she has spoken at numerous international conferences on sustainability held in cities like Berlin, Paris, and Tokyo.

Johanna resides in the picturesque countryside of England with her partner Lars and their two daughters, Mia and Lila, where they lead a semi-sustainable lifestyle, growing much of their own food and working towards reducing their carbon footprint.
