Julian Bailey has been making waves in the field of environmental science since he joined the faculty at the University of Cambridge in 2015. Julian, who earned his PhD from Oxford University in 2014, spent a year as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Harvard University's Department of Environmental Health from 2014 to 2015.
Based in the picturesque city of Cambridge, Julian is not only an influential figure within the Department of Geography but also an active member of the Centre for Climate Change Mitigation Research. He serves as the Director of the Urban Sustainability Lab, where his work centers on exploring the intersections between urban development, sustainability practices, and climate change adaptation.
With a passion for creating greener cities, Julian's research delves into innovative methods for reducing carbon footprints, enhancing renewable energy sources, and fostering community resilience against environmental challenges. His efforts have culminated in over 120 publications, including books, scholarly articles, and contributions to leading journals.
