Julian Michael Hodges

Motto:If you want to shine like a sun, first burn like a sun.
Julian Michael Hodges, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Science at Green Meadows University. Previously, he was the Research Fellow for the Sustainability Initiative, funded by The Global Nature Fund. Julian has always been fascinated by renewable energy sources and has dedicated much of his career to exploring how communities can adopt greener technologies. In 2023, he co-authored a groundbreaking book titled "Harnessing the Sun: The Future of Solar Energy," which delves into the potential of solar power to transform our approach to sustainable living.
Green Meadows University, nestled in the heart of Vermont, provides Julian with a vibrant academic environment where he can inspire students and colleagues alike. His work doesn't just stop at the campus borders; Julian often collaborates with local towns to implement practical solutions that reduce carbon footprints. His efforts have not only garnered him respect within the academic community but also earned him a reputation as a leader in environmental advocacy.
This past April, Julian embarked on an exciting new project with the town of Maplewood, setting up a series of workshops aimed at educating residents about the benefits of solar panels. Through hands-on demonstrations and engaging discussions, Julian hopes to encourage more people to embrace sustainable practices in their daily lives. With a passion for preserving the planet for future generations, Julian continues to push the boundaries of what's possible in the realm of renewable energy.
