Motto:Give a dog a bad name and hang him.

Julian Shaw is a celebrated educator and behavioral scientist at the University of Oxford in the historic city of Oxford, England. He obtained his doctorate in psychology from the London School of Economics, and over the last ten years, he has contributed significantly to the field with numerous publications on topics such as human behavior, social influence, cognitive biases, and the psychological underpinnings of public policy. Julian's insights have been featured in various media outlets including BBC Radio 4, The Guardian, The Economist, and Forbes. He has also served as an expert consultant for several governmental organizations on matters related to public perception and decision-making.

In 2018, Julian was honored with the prestigious Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching at Oxford, which recognizes the faculty member who has made the most significant impact on students' learning experiences. In 2020, the Student Union voted him Lecturer of the Year, celebrating his ability to inspire and engage. Outside of academia, Julian enjoys exploring the countryside with his partner and son, plays an enthusiastic but not necessarily skilled game of chess at the local club, and spends too much time curating TED Talk compilations for his lectures.

His latest book, "Perspectives Shape Reality: Unveiling the Power of Context in Everyday Life," hit the shelves in March 2023, published by Penguin Random House UK. Through engaging anecdotes and cutting-edge research, Julian challenges readers to reconsider how their surroundings can dramatically shape their thoughts and actions.
