Motto:Life is short and time is swift.
Julianna Young is a Seattle-based novelist, blogger, and painter who earned her M.A. in creative writing from the University of Washington. After moving to the Pacific Northwest last year, Julianna discovered that the lush landscapes and vibrant arts scene have inspired a new chapter in her life. Her painting now serves as an outlet for her emotions, her blogging connects her with a global community of enthusiasts, and her novels weave stories that are deeply intertwined with the natural beauty surrounding her.

Through this transformative experience, she found solace in the Pacific Northwest's serene forests and dynamic cityscapes. Her latest novel, "Whispers of Cedar," draws inspiration from these elements and has garnered praise for its vivid portrayal of nature and human resilience. Alongside her fiction, Julianna also writes heartfelt essays that reflect on life’s complexities, which have resonated with many readers.
Her work is a diverse collection of contemporary romance, historical fiction, and introspective essays, with Seattle often serving as a character in its own right. Among her publications, the critically acclaimed historical romance "Echoes of Rainier" stands out, and her recent novel "Beneath the Evergreen Sky" was shortlisted for the 2024 Pacific Northwest Book Awards.
