From an early age, Kai was drawn to the guitar, and by his teens, he was performing locally. He earned a degree in Music Performance from Berklee College of Music, where he majored in Contemporary Writing and Production. Following his passion for music, Kai toured extensively across North America and Europe, sharing stages with artists such as Norah Jones, John Mayer, and K.D. Lang. After deciding to shift gears, Kai pursued a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Lesley University, followed by specialized training in couples therapy at the Gottman Institute.
