Kathleena Wilson, a compassionate mental health counselor, has dedicated her career to supporting individuals navigating through the challenges of life transitions at the Community Wellness Center in Denver, Colorado. Kathleena holds a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and is certified as a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She offers weekly resilience workshops and monthly support circles for those dealing with personal loss or trauma.
In addition to her work at the wellness center, Kathleena serves as a community outreach coordinator for a local non-profit organization, where she organizes volunteer efforts and educational programs aimed at enhancing community resilience. Every month, she visits various neighborhoods around Denver, connecting with residents and providing resources for emotional well-being.
Kathleena has been instrumental in developing an online platform that provides virtual counseling services, making mental health support accessible to more people across different regions. Her doctoral research focused on the impact of digital interventions on mental health outcomes, leading her to publish several influential papers on the subject.
She has also taught courses on mental health and coping strategies at Metropolitan State University of Denver, bringing awareness to the importance of psychological care.
