Liam Christopher Hughes is the author of "The Power of Dialogue" and several other influential works. According to The Guardian, BBC, and The Times, he is regarded as a leading figure in the exploration of human interaction and neural response.
Liam currently serves as the Director of Cognitive Studies at the Greenfield Institute of Neurological Research in London. He also holds the position of Professor in the Departments of Psychology and Neuroscience at King's College London. He is celebrated for his groundbreaking work in the emerging field of Social Neurology, which explores how social interactions shape brain function. Liam co-authored the critically acclaimed book "How Conversations Shape Your Mind," penned the widely read "Why We Connect," and collaborated on "Wired for Relationships." His insights have been shared at academic and community events across Europe, and he has featured on Sky News, BBC Radio 4, and in numerous publications such as Wired, The Economist, The Guardian, and The Telegraph.
His partner in research, Dr. Emma Taylor, is part of the faculty at the Global Leadership Program at Cambridge University, where she teaches innovative methods for enhancing team dynamics and interpersonal communication based on neurological principles. She also contributes to the Executive Education programs at Oxford Said Business School. Their collaborative studies on empathy, dialogue, leadership, and the brain have been published in international scientific journals.
