Luke Perez is a dedicated clinical psychologist, writer, and performance poet with a focus on overcoming trauma through storytelling. Holding a Specialist certification in Trauma-Informed Care (S-TIC), Luke addresses issues related to childhood trauma, resilience building, and cultural diversity. He earned his Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver, where he specialized in trauma recovery and community healing.
Originally hailing from Santa Fe, New Mexico, Luke has carved out a unique path that blends traditional therapeutic practices with the expressive arts. His career took an inspiring turn when he became involved in community outreach programs, leading him to found "Voices of Strength," an initiative aimed at empowering youth through creative expression.
Luke is the author of "Whispers of Resilience: Healing Through Story" and "The Echoes Within: Poems on Identity, Recovery, and Belonging." These works explore themes of personal growth, mental health advocacy, and the importance of narrative in healing.
