Lydia Butler is an artist and educator who calls Portland, Oregon her home. Having moved there last spring, Lydia has quickly become an integral part of the local community. She spends her days teaching art at a vibrant elementary school in the heart of the city and her evenings pursuing her own creative projects. With a studio set up in her cozy home near the scenic Forest Park, Lydia finds endless inspiration in the lush greenery and the lively atmosphere of Portland.
This past weekend, Lydia organized a city-wide art festival that brought together artists from all corners of the Pacific Northwest. The event was held in the historic Pioneer Courthouse Square, transforming it into a colorful canvas of creativity and expression. Artists showcased their work, led workshops, and engaged with the public in discussions about the role of art in society.
