Margery Thompson, Ph.D., is a distinguished scholar and consultant for the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) who has graced the podiums of prestigious institutions like the Sorbonne University in Paris, the University of Tokyo, and various international organizations. Margery specializes in cultural heritage preservation and delivers inspiring talks at global summits and seminars, guiding professionals on innovative ways to protect and promote our world's diverse cultures.
Hailing from Sydney, Australia, Margery embarked on her career journey in March 2017 when she joined UNESCO as an expert in cultural education. She holds dual doctorates in Cultural Studies and Heritage Management and has authored seven books that explore the intersection of culture and society, along with more than 100 peer-reviewed articles.
