Marguerita Lopez, Ph.D., is a globally acclaimed specialist in the psychology of music and its impact on human behavior. She offers workshops and advises on the therapeutic applications of music for clients ranging from healthcare institutions to tech startups and music schools. At the Institute for Arts and Health at UCLA, Dr. Lopez leads the Harmony Initiative, an innovative project exploring how immersive musical experiences can enhance mental health, creativity, and social bonds.
