Maximus Castro, Ph.D., is a distinguished Professor of Cultural Studies at the University of Sydney. His passions lie in exploring digital cultures, media sociology, the impact of technology on social interactions, urban studies, youth culture, and contemporary social theory.

Based in Sydney, Maximus has dedicated his career to understanding how modern societies evolve with technological advancements. In 2023, he moved from his previous position at a university in Madrid to join the vibrant academic community in Australia.
