Motto:If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you must keep moving forward.
Morgan Thompson is a mental health advocate, Founder and CEO of Mindful Maternity, and host of the Embrace Motherhood podcast, who empowers parents dealing with the challenges of early parenthood after navigating these struggles herself. Blending her background in healthcare administration with her personal path through the trials of adapting to new motherhood, Morgan has crafted an engaging online community aimed at supporting parents.
Morgan's journey towards establishing Mindful Maternity started one chilly morning in March 2023, shortly after she welcomed her newborn into the world in San Francisco. Like many first-time parents, Morgan was taken aback by the intensity of emotions that accompanied early parenthood. Three months post-delivery, she found herself grappling with feelings of isolation, exhaustion, and uncertainty. Realizing the gap in resources for parents facing similar challenges, Morgan launched Mindful Maternity, a platform dedicated to offering round-the-clock support for parental mental health through expert advice, peer-led discussion forums, and a vibrant network of supportive parents.
Based in San Francisco, Mindful Maternity quickly became a beacon for parents seeking solace and guidance. Morgan hosts the Embrace Motherhood podcast where she delves into topics ranging from managing sleepless nights to embracing the joys and hurdles of raising young children. She also writes heartfelt articles and blog posts, along with curating a weekly newsletter that covers everything from prenatal care to the early years of childhood. Her mission is to foster an open dialogue about the realities of parenthood and champion the importance of mental wellness for both moms and dads.
