Neil Anderson, Ph.D., earned his doctoral degree in cognitive science from Stanford University. As a leading researcher and professor, Neil has spearheaded numerous innovative projects that have been highlighted in Wired Magazine, National Geographic, and Forbes. He's also been a guest on TED Talks and NPR’s Science Friday, and co-authored the critically acclaimed book “The Future of Thought” with MIT Press.
Neil's passion for both technology and human behavior has led him to explore how digital environments shape our minds. His articles have appeared in tech-focused publications like Ars Technica, IEEE Spectrum, and the 2023 Tech Innovators Review. Additionally, he contributed chapters to books such as "The Mind Behind the Machine," "Behavioral Design in Apps," and "Augmented Reality: A New Frontier."
His personal project, "The Cognitive Codex," is a popular online resource where Neil shares insights into optimizing brain function for better learning and creativity through the lens of cognitive science. Thanks to his unique blend of expertise in technology and psychology, Neil is often invited by Silicon Valley startups to consult on user experience design and product development.
