Nicholas Eric Jackson has built a remarkable career spanning technology, academia, entertainment, and community service. Recognized by Tech Innovators Journal as an outstanding figure in both education and the tech industry, Nicholas is known for his innovative approach and forward-thinking strategies. He holds a doctorate from MIT in Computer Science with additional qualifications in educational leadership.

In 2021, Nicholas took on the role of president and CEO at several key departments within leading global tech firms, such as QuantumTech Solutions, Nexa Media Ventures, and Cyberspace Education Platforms. Under his leadership, QuantumTech partnered with Stellar Studios to pioneer the first batch of immersive VR experiences distributed via cloud-based platforms, marking a significant leap in virtual reality technology. Nicholas also oversaw the development of groundbreaking software like "Explore Space," "HistoriQuest," and the interactive documentary "Chronicles of Time" which featured renowned historian Dr. Jane Goodall.

Based in Boston, Massachusetts, Nicholas initiated the launch of the first Doctoral program focused on Virtual Reality and its societal impacts at Northeastern University, and introduced a Master's degree in Digital Humanities and Social Change at MIT. He served on the board of directors for the Association for Educational Technology, chaired the committee for STEM-focused charter schools in Massachusetts, and was an active member of the U.S. Air Force Reserves.

Within the academic realm, Nicholas has been the guiding force behind nine institutions of higher learning, serving roles such as Chancellor of Boston Metro Community College District, President of Cambridge Technical College, and founding President of Beacon Hill Community College. He was instrumental in establishing the first fully online accredited university in New England, the Virtual Learning Institute, and served as CEO and Professor of Information Technology at Franklin Pierce University.

Nicholas continues to lead initiatives aimed at enhancing digital literacy across community colleges nationwide. Throughout his career, he has lectured at prestigious universities such as Harvard, MIT, Boston University, and Northeastern University. Dr. Jackson is certified in Cybersecurity Compliance and serves on the advisory boards for various law schools in the Boston area and Goddard College in Vermont.

Nicholas has received accolades including two Tech Pioneer Awards from the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, and distinguished awards from the MIT Alumni Association, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and the European Commission for his work in edtech and digital innovation. He has been honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Society for Information Technology & Teacher Education and served as President of the International Council for Online Learning. Married to Laura Jackson, Ph.D., they have three children, Lily, Max, and Zoe.
