Motto:A real decision is measured by the fact that you've taken a new action. If there's no action, you haven't truly decided.

Octavianne Marceau, Ph.D., has dedicated the last two decades to her career as a psychotherapist. Throughout her tenure at Bayview Mental Health Clinic, she was honored with the prestigious Hume Innovation Award for her groundbreaking work in adolescent therapy. Octavianne is also a regular contributor to mindbodygreen, parentlab.net, and Psychology Today. She has graced the screens of various national networks, including CNN and MSNBC, in cities ranging from Seattle to Miami, San Francisco to New York.

She serves as a TV contributor for KTLA Los Angeles, KUSA Denver, and KIRO-TV Seattle. Among her accolades, Octavianne authored "Embracing Life: A Guide to Fulfilling Relationships," which won the Silver Living Now Book Award in 2021. Her latest publication, "Cultivating Resilience: Nurturing Secure Children Through Compassionate Parenting," hit the shelves earlier this year. In 2023, Dr. Marceau was recognized as a leading figure in mental health and was welcomed into The Global Society of Healthcare Pioneers.

Despite her professional achievements, Octavianne's proudest role remains that of a mother. Her twins, now vibrant and witty 15-year-olds, have been her greatest teachers, showing her the depth and breadth of human emotion and connection every day in their coastal hometown of Monterey, California.
