Owen James Bailey, a leading figure in the field of environmental sustainability, is the founder and executive director of GreenHorizons Initiative. Established in 2021, this dynamic organization has been instrumental in promoting sustainable practices among businesses and communities, influencing over 75% of the top green enterprises in Europe. With a presence in 18 European countries, GreenHorizons Initiative bridges the gap between environmental scientists and business leaders to create a greener future for all through innovative solutions.
Bailey has penned five acclaimed books, including "Sustainable Futures," which became an international best-seller advocating for environmentally friendly business practices. Originally from Ireland, Owen has been based in Berlin since 2015. He earned his doctorate in Environmental Sustainability from Trinity College Dublin, where his research focused on integrating sustainable practices into corporate strategy.
