Paul Reed, M.D., is a dedicated clinician and educator serving as an associate professor of psychiatry and family medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He leads the adolescent mental health initiative at Banner - University Medical Center Tucson. Paul completed his medical education at the University of Arizona and his residency in psychiatry at the esteemed UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior.

Over the past decade, Paul has cultivated a passion for integrating art with science, leading him to author several pieces that bridge these two worlds. He currently teaches a popular course at the University of Arizona that explores the intersection of mental health and modern media, encouraging students to think critically about how psychological themes are portrayed in TV shows and movies. His latest book, "The Mind Unveiled," delves into the complexities of adolescent psychology and was released by Penguin Random House in April 2024. It quickly became a favorite among educators and mental health professionals. Additionally, he has embarked on a new project, a documentary series exploring the impact of technology on youth mental health, set to premiere in January 2025.
