Penelope Young, Ph.D., is a certified psychologist with a specialization in educational psychology. She serves as a Leading Professor at the Department of Education within Stanford University and is the founding director of the Center for Youth Development and Learning. Penelope's career has been dedicated to fostering comprehensive development in young individuals, emphasizing innovative approaches to bolster mental health and social skills.
In 2023, Penelope launched the pioneering "Empower Through Understanding" program, which provides interactive tools designed to assist adolescents in developing resilience, managing stress, and enhancing their interpersonal relationships. The program includes a series of workshops and online resources that guide teens on how to articulate their emotions effectively and seek support when needed.
