Over the past decade, she has dedicated her time to researching sustainable urban development at the University of Sydney. Now, as of December 2024, Quintilla finds herself nestled in the heart of Portland, Oregon, where she's taken on a new challenge as a lead researcher at the Oregon State University, focusing on innovative green technologies.
Her journey from the Southern Hemisphere to the Pacific Northwest has been nothing short of inspiring. In each place she's called home, Quintilla has left an indelible mark on both the academic community and the environment around her.
