Ronan Ross is a seasoned entrepreneur, environmental scientist, and distinguished lecturer at the University of Cape Town, as well as a research associate at the Australian National University. He penned the acclaimed book "GREEN PRINT: Crafting Sustainable Futures in a Changing Climate." Over the past two decades, Ronan has dedicated himself to sustainability initiatives, renewable energy projects, and conservation efforts with organizations like Greenpeace, SolarAid, and Conservation International, where he held the position of Chief Sustainability Officer.

Today, as the visionary founder and CEO of TerraVive, Ronan guides companies on sustainable practices, biodiversity preservation, climate adaptation, and green technology innovation. His consultancy work extends across Africa, focusing on empowering local communities through sustainable development.

Ronan's advisory roles bridge various sectors including environment, education, and philanthropy. He serves as a Non-Executive Director for the African Wildlife Foundation; Chair of the Renewable Energy Task Force in South Africa; President of the Environmental Science Society of Namibia; Board Member at the Global Green Fund; Advisor to the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP); Founding Member of the International Council on Sustainable Development; and former Trustee of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). An engaging speaker at global forums, his expertise has been highlighted in platforms such as Nature magazine, The Guardian, Al Jazeera, SABC, and Reuters.

In March 2024, Ronan was honored with the prestigious Earth Champion Award in Nairobi for his outstanding contributions to environmental stewardship and sustainable development practices. Through his dynamic leadership and innovative approach, Ronan continues to inspire change and promote a healthier planet for future generations.
