Motto:Learn and live.

Rowan James Vaughan is the head of community outreach at Wellington Health Center in Sydney. He's currently working on a documentary that highlights the journey of the first Indigenous Australian to become a certified marine biologist (Tara 'Tidal' Williams). Rowan, with his background as an environmental scientist, also holds a position as a senior lecturer at the University of Sydney. Besides his academic pursuits, he serves as the director of sustainability for EcoHealth Australia.

On a sunny afternoon in March 2024, Rowan found himself walking along the shores of Sydney Harbour, gathering footage and insights for the documentary. This project is close to his heart, not only because it celebrates the achievements of someone from his own community but also because it raises awareness about marine conservation. Rowan's passion for storytelling and education has led him to author several guides on sustainable living and his popular book, Everyday Wonders, which inspires readers to find beauty and importance in the natural world around them.
