Ryan Howard

Motto:You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.
Ryan Howard, a seasoned baseball player turned mental health advocate, has dedicated his post-athletic career to supporting individuals facing challenges with trauma, stress, mood, and anxiety disorders. Since retiring from professional sports in 2019, Ryan has immersed himself in the world of psychology, using his platform to promote awareness and understanding of mental health issues.
Operating out of his foundation's headquarters in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Ryan has embarked on a mission to help thousands of people by integrating various therapeutic approaches into his advocacy work. He has undergone extensive training in Supportive Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR). Through these methods, he offers one-on-one counseling sessions, workshops, and community events that aim to foster resilience and emotional well-being.
In just five years, Ryan has become an influential voice in the mental health community. His personal story of overcoming adversity on the field has resonated with many, and he has used this narrative to inspire and empower others. He is also the author of "Beyond the Diamond: A Journey to Inner Strength," where he shares his insights and experiences, providing readers with practical tools for navigating their own mental health journeys.
Philadelphia has been at the heart of Ryan's efforts, but his message has reached far beyond the city limits. Through social media, public speaking engagements, and collaborations with other organizations, Ryan continues to expand his reach, offering hope and support to those who need it most.
