An advocate for innovative treatments, Sarah established the Boston Mind Health Center in 2010, initially offering cutting-edge neurofeedback services. Over time, this center has grown into the Boston Wellness Network (BWN), where Sarah acts as the Chief Medical Officer. BWN is now a well-connected network with seven outpatient clinics throughout the greater Boston area, delivering a range of services from traditional psychiatric care to advanced neurotherapies like neurofeedback and biofeedback for those facing treatment-resistant conditions.
In addition to her role at BWN, Sarah serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Tranquil Mental Health, an organization that provides comprehensive care from residential treatment to day programs for individuals dealing with complex mental health issues, addictions, and co-occurring disorders across various locations in New England.
Furthermore, Sarah holds leadership positions as the Vice President of the Neurofeedback Association, sits on the Board of Directors for both the NFA and the Alliance for Cognitive Therapies, and is a board member of the Urban Health Initiative. Sarah is affiliated with numerous professional organizations, including the American Psychiatric Association (Life Fellow), the Academy of Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, the Clinical Neurofeedback Society (Fellow), the American Society of Addiction Medicine, the Mindfulness-Based Therapy Association, the Massachusetts Psychiatric Society, and the New England Psychiatric Society (Distinguished Fellow).
