Savannah Knight, Ph.D., is a Professor of Literature at Coastal Breeze University in sunny Miami, Florida. Her expertise lies in narrative theory, postcolonial studies, and the works of Gabriel García Márquez. Savannah has just completed her latest book, Echoes of Tomorrow: The Art of Storytelling in a Changing World. Her previous publication, Tales from the Edge: Crafting Narratives in Uncertain Times, was released by Horizon Press. She is also the author of Voices Unheard: Postcolonial Perspectives on Narrative (Oxford 2010) and Borders and Belonging: A Literary Exploration of Identity and Place (Cambridge 2005). Alongside this, she co-edited Magical Realism Reconsidered with Maria Gonzalez (Oxford 2007) and Stories of Struggle: Resistance and Representation with John Williams (Penguin 2009).
