Scarlett Knight, MD, took on the role as Chief Advisor for the Bloom to Thrive initiative in the heart of San Francisco's vibrant healthcare community. As of 2024, she has been instrumental in integrating mental health services into the fabric of the city's pediatric care system. Scarlett is not only a Clinical Associate Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine, where she teaches Pediatrics and Child Psychiatry, but also an acclaimed author of "Empowering Early Years: A Guide to Integrated Pediatric Care."
Knight completed her medical education at the University of California, San Francisco, followed by specialized training at Harvard Medical School. Her passion lies in enhancing the well-being of children, focusing on early intervention and prevention strategies within primary care settings. Scarlett dedicates her time to advancing pediatric health and development, ensuring that every child in San Francisco has access to comprehensive and compassionate care.
