Scarlett Louise Hall

Motto:The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.
Scarlett Louise Hall is a former librarian turned acclaimed author of children's literature. After retiring from the bustling public library in Denver, Colorado, Scarlett now dedicates her time to crafting enchanting stories that whisk young readers away on magical adventures. Her tales have charmed audiences far and wide, gracing the pages of Family Fun Magazine, Parents Magazine, Scholastic’s Storyworks, and various online platforms dedicated to enriching children's lives through literature.
From her cozy home nestled in the heart of Asheville, North Carolina, Scarlett draws inspiration from the vibrant Appalachian culture around her. Each morning, she sips coffee on her porch, watching the mist rise from the mountains as she plots out new worlds for her characters to explore. In addition to writing, Scarlett volunteers at local schools, sparking a love for reading in the next generation.
Her latest project, launched in early 2024, involves collaborating with artists from the Asheville community to create an interactive storybook app that brings her narratives to life with animations and sound effects. Scarlett believes in the power of storytelling not only to entertain but also to educate and inspire. Through her work, she hopes to instill a lifelong passion for learning in every child who picks up one of her books.
