Silviah Omondi, Ph.D., is a passionate educator and the Head of the Department for Environmental Sciences at Nairobi University. As of December 2024, Silviah has been instrumental in establishing the new Center for Urban Sustainability Studies right in the heart of Kenya's bustling capital city. From her office that overlooks the vibrant Uhuru Park, she leads a team dedicated to exploring innovative solutions for sustainable urban development.
