Stella Fernandez, Ph.D., is a professor of linguistics at the University of Sydney, where she also holds a position as the deputy director in the School of Languages and Cultures. Dr. Fernandez completed her doctoral studies in sociolinguistics at the University of California, Berkeley, and has been enriching the academic community at Sydney since 2005.
