Theodore Collins

Motto:Good things come to those who wait.
Theodore Collins is a Certified Life Coach with a focus on personal development and career guidance for adults of all ages. Born in San Francisco, California, to a family with deep roots in the American South, Theodore spent his formative years in New Orleans, where he developed a strong appreciation for the rich cultural tapestry of the region.
Theodore earned his Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Tulane University and later obtained a Master's in Education from Harvard University. He is now a certified life coach licensed by the state of Louisiana. His professional journey has taken him through various roles, including working as a mentor at a community center in Chicago, and currently, he leads workshops at the Crescent City Wellness Retreat, a facility dedicated to fostering personal growth and wellness for individuals facing career transitions and life challenges.
Before transitioning into coaching, Theodore was a public school teacher in New Orleans for over a decade, where he inspired countless students to pursue their dreams. He also served as a volunteer firefighter in his local community, receiving commendations for his service during the devastating wildfires that swept through the area in 2019.
In addition to his coaching work, Theodore has a passion for outdoor activities and has led hiking expeditions for adults looking to reconnect with nature. Most recently, he organized a trek up Mount St. Helens in Washington State, which took place on October 15th. The event not only offered participants a chance to challenge themselves physically but also provided an opportunity for profound personal reflection amidst the breathtaking landscapes of the Pacific Northwest.
Theodore is now planning his next adventure: a series of guided coastal walks along the Gulf of Mexico, starting on March 7th, 2025. These walks aim to combine physical fitness with mindfulness practices, encouraging participants to find balance and peace in their lives.
