Timothy Green, Ph.D., LMFT, is the author of "Embracing the Storm: A Compassionate Path to Deeper Relationships," which was honored with the Mindfulness and Living Award as one of the most inspiring books of 2024. The book explores how relationships can serve as a transformative journey toward personal growth. His earlier works include "The Courageous Soul" and "Trust & Transformation." Timothy collaborated with Dr. Lisa Firestone on a chapter about integrating mindfulness into therapy in "The Mindful Therapist's Handbook." He also penned a chapter for "Advancements in Humanistic Psychotherapy."
Timothy has been practicing as a licensed marriage and family therapist for over three decades in Austin, Texas. Throughout his career, he has dedicated himself to helping couples find deeper meaning in their relationships. In addition to his clinical work, Timothy has shared his insights at numerous conferences and universities around the globe, including speaking engagements at institutions in Tokyo, Berlin, and Cape Town.
For fifteen years, he was a regular contributor and senior editor at "Mindful Living Magazine," offering advice and writing articles on emotional intelligence and compassionate communication. Timothy has appeared on various media platforms, such as NPR, Good Morning America, and Conscious Living TV, discussing topics related to relationship health and emotional well-being.
