Victoria J. Anderson, Ph.D., is a dedicated Clinical-Community Psychologist and Associate Professor at the University of California, Berkeley, with affiliations as Adjunct Faculty in the Psychology Department at Stanford University, and Visiting Researcher at the Institute for Global Health Equity at Harvard University. Victoria earned her doctorate in Clinical-Community Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, completed her pre-doctoral internship at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, and underwent postdoctoral training at both the Center for Global Mental Health at King’s College London and Harvard.
As the Founder and Director of The INCLUSION Hub, Victoria champions initiatives to enhance mental health equity by "Integrating Novel Cultures into Leadership, Understanding, Community Integration, Outreach, and Nurturing." Her research, funded by organizations like the National Science Foundation, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the United Nations, explores the intersectionality of cultural identity and mental resilience among Asian American youth, aiming to tailor cognitive-behavioral interventions that are culturally sensitive and effective in diverse community settings.
Victoria is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and the CEO of Cultural Bridge Consulting, LLC, where she applies her expertise in Trauma-Informed Care to offer dynamic workshops, training sessions, and consultation services to educators, healthcare providers, and non-profit organizations across the globe. She has been honored with multiple awards for her groundbreaking work in mental health advocacy, including the 2023 Pioneer Award for her innovative contributions to psychological science and practice, and the 2024 Community Impact Award for her leadership in advancing equitable mental health care.
With an impressive portfolio of over 60 peer-reviewed articles, Victoria's research has appeared in prestigious journals such as Psychological Medicine, Transcultural Psychiatry, and the Journal of Ethnicity in Substance Abuse.
