Victoria King

Motto:It's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.
Victoria King, LCSWA, is a mental health therapist at Greenleaf Wellness Center. She supports individuals facing challenges like stress management, career changes, emotional regulation, anxiety, and navigating the ups and downs of personal growth.
Before diving into therapy, Victoria was an environmental scientist based in Seattle. She thrived there, working for the city's sustainability department until the Great Pacific Northwest Freeze of 2023. In 2015, she took on a new challenge as the lead editor for the Seattle edition of EcoVibe Magazine. Her insights have also graced the pages of The Seattle Post-Intelligencer.
By 2022, Victoria had developed a keen interest in the intersection between mental health and urban living. Realizing that her conversations with sources mirrored therapeutic dialogues, she felt inspired to transition fully into a role where she could offer deeper support. In 2023, she enrolled in the online Master’s program in Social Work at Boston University (a flexible choice given the ongoing public health concerns), and by 2024, she completed her degree. Shortly after graduation, Victoria relocated to Portland to begin her practice. Writing remains a cherished hobby, allowing her to reflect on her experiences and share valuable lessons with others.
