Victoria Turner is an entrepreneur, educator, and mentor who empowers small business owners and their teams to thrive in the digital age. With over 15 years of experience in technology, education, and community building, Victoria leverages her background in computer science and her passion for innovation to help businesses harness the power of technology to solve real-world problems. She specializes in guiding companies through digital transformation, fostering collaborative work environments, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and adaptability.
Victoria is the Founder and CEO of TechNest, a consultancy that focuses on tech integration and workforce development, with a strong commitment to supporting local communities and startups. She currently serves as a Technology Advisor for the City of Austin and as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Texas at Austin. Victoria holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, a Master’s degree in Educational Technology, and certifications in Agile Project Management, Cybersecurity, and Digital Marketing. In 2023, she was honored with the Innovator of the Year Award by the Austin Chamber of Commerce, and her organization received the 2024 Community Impact Award from the Central Texas Business Association.
Victoria's belief in the transformative potential of technology was solidified when she witnessed the rapid growth of the tech industry during her time as a student at Stanford University. Originally from San Francisco, she has always been fascinated by how technology can bridge gaps and create opportunities for people from all walks of life. Now residing in Austin, Texas, Victoria enjoys living in a city that perfectly blends innovation with a laid-back lifestyle. Alongside her husband and two young daughters, she loves exploring the vibrant music scene, trying out new recipes, attending outdoor movie nights, and cheering on the Austin FC soccer team. When not busy with work or family activities, Victoria can often be found hiking in the nearby hills or participating in local hackathons and tech meetups.
