In 2022, William introduced a concept he termed "Cognitive Resilience"—a resilience aimed at enhancing our mental adaptability—and has been researching its applications ever since. He also writes extensively on the intersection of philosophy and technology and how these fields influence our daily lives.

William serves on the advisory boards for several journals, such as the Journal of Applied Ethics. His latest book, "Cognitive Resilience: Strengthening the Mind in the Age of AI," is set to be released by Penguin Random House in June 2024.
