William Kennedy

Motto:You are the sum of the five people you spend the most time with.
William Kennedy, a renowned child psychologist with a focus on adolescents struggling with defiance, mood swings, and social challenges, often encounters the same plea: “Please, we’ve exhausted all options, and we’re out of ideas.” William’s clients turn to him when they feel like they've hit rock bottom. With a solid educational foundation and over two decades of experience in guiding teenagers through turbulent times, William has become a beacon of hope for parents seeking to understand and effectively address their children's behavioral issues. His approach is about creating lasting change, so families can move past the cycle of trying new discipline methods that yield little to no results.
In 2022, William launched The Bridge Program in Seattle, Washington, an innovative initiative aimed at building trust and communication between parents and their teens. The program uses interactive workshops and real-life scenarios to teach empathy, resilience, and problem-solving skills. He also authored "Building Bridges: A Parent's Guide to Connecting with Your Teenager," which offers practical advice on establishing a supportive home environment where teenagers can thrive. One of William’s most rewarding experiences is watching parents and educators transform challenging behaviors into opportunities for growth and learning. Outside of his professional life, William enjoys hiking in the Pacific Northwest and has a passion for photography.
Sarah Thompson, who holds a master’s degree in psychology from the University of Washington, serves as the marketing director and content creator for The Bridge Program. Previously, Sarah worked as a school counselor, but she found her true calling in promoting positive change through actionable strategies and solutions. She is a third-degree black belt in Taekwondo and loves spending time outdoors, exploring new recipes, and collecting vinyl records. Like her colleague William Kennedy, Sarah also shares a fondness for the great outdoors and believes in the healing power of nature.
