Xeniarah Rodriguez, M.D., finished her medical education at the University of Puerto Rico, along with her internship and residency in family medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. She pursued further studies, earning a Master's degree in public health from Harvard University and completing fellowships in global health at Johns Hopkins University and in integrative medicine at the University of Arizona. Xeniarah has served as a medical coordinator for community health projects and is now an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Emory University in Atlanta. Additionally, she works as a consulting physician at Grady Memorial Hospital, where she leads the integrative care program and contributes to the faculty of the Center for Health Disparities Solutions.

Rodriguez's work has received support from various sources, including grants from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, and the Kellogg Foundation. She has been honored with several accolades, such as the Community Health Champion Award from the National Association of Free Clinics, the Global Health Leadership Award from Partners In Health, and the Emerging Leader Award from the American Public Health Association. Xeniarah is also the author of two books: "Bridges: Connecting Cultures Through Community Health" and "Roots: Herbal Remedies in Modern Medicine," which highlight her dedication to bridging traditional practices with contemporary healthcare solutions.

As of December 2024, Dr. Rodriguez continues to be actively involved in research aimed at enhancing access to integrative healthcare services for underserved populations, advocating for policies that promote health equity and cultural competence in medical practice.
