Zachary Joseph Stewart is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Department of Literature at Brightwater University, where he inspires students with his courses on creative writing, contemporary literature, and cultural studies at the university's downtown campus. Over the summer, Zachary embarked on a unique project, organizing a series of workshops for aspiring writers in the local community center of Maplewood Heights.

In previous years, Zachary has been deeply involved with grassroots movements advocating for arts education and literacy programs in underserved communities. He notably worked with Arts For All, a non-profit organization based in Portland, Oregon, which aims to provide equitable access to arts education for children and adolescents.

Zachary's dedication as both an educator and advocate has not gone unnoticed; he has been featured in various media outlets such as the Boston Globe, NPR’s “On Point,” and PBS NewsHour. His essays and short stories have been published in esteemed journals like The Atlantic, Harper's Magazine, and The New Yorker, reaching audiences far and wide.
