Zephyr Martinez

Motto:The best things come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle.
Zephyr Martinez, a trailblazer in the field of neurodiversity and mental health advocacy, has dedicated her career to transforming perceptions around learning differences. Over the past two decades, Zephyr has supported countless individuals—both young and old—to thrive by embracing their unique cognitive styles. Diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia herself, Zephyr uses her personal experience to fuel her passion for empowering others.
Based in Austin, Texas, Zephyr is the author of several influential books including "Embrace Your Mind: A Guide to Flourishing with Neurodiversity" and "The Power Within: Unlocking Potential in Every Learner," along with 15 other publications that delve into various aspects of psychological well-being. Her insights have been shared on platforms such as NPR’s Morning Edition, TED Talks, HBO Max, MSNBC, The Ellen Show, PBS NewsHour, and prominent print media like The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Psychology Today, and The Houston Chronicle.
A proud alumna of Stanford University and the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine, Zephyr also served as a faculty member at UCSF for over a decade.
The Martinez Neurodiversity Support Centers, located across Texas, Arizona, Colorado, and Oregon, offer comprehensive services aimed at helping individuals navigate their paths to success. Discover more about Zephyr's work at zephyrmartinez.com.
