Dream interpretation, intimate relationships, dream from a year ago By Anonymous | Published on December 18, 2024

A dream a year ago,

Made last night after dinner and conversation with friends. The topic during our chat was, I feel that many girls have certain thoughts about intimate relationships (and here I'll tell a joke, please gentlemen and ladies, don't take it personally), who has candy to save the me in reality, as if everything is perfect in the fantasy where you are. And recently, I indeed have the intention to step out of my personal world and explore the world of relationships, and I have been preparing for this for a long time. I feel that this topic might be related to my dream.

I want to clarify here that this is just my personal thought and opinion, and I'm just "talking about dreams as a matter." If any female friends feel angry after reading this, that was not my intention.

In the dream, I was operating a crane, planting trees for the city government's greening project on the North Fourth Ring Road in Zhengzhou. The tree had one root, two trunks, one larger and one smaller. Both tree tops were cut even, and the whole tree only had a few leaves. It was a tall tree with some twists and turns, and the soil ball at the root was not too large. I operated the crane to lift the tree, set it upright, and place it in the tree pit, while the workers covered the soil and made circles (making circles refers to building a circular soil pile around the tree root for future watering).

Your dreams are a mix of thoughts, memories, and desires. You're recalling a dream from a year ago, which may relate to your usual chat content. Having sugar can save you, as if it is a desire for intimacy.

You value intimacy and are open to more. You are industrious and contributing. You plant trees with skill.

The dream content may seem ordinary, like planting trees. Many of us planted trees as kids, especially on Arbor Day. It's been over two months since Arbor Day, and you may associate this with life and growth.

You may have more feelings and concerns about life because not everything goes smoothly in this society. Some people give more, some give less.

Some people feel bad about understanding and receiving emotions. Maybe you feel unloved, and the tree in your dream can show this. We need to feed the tree, but there's no time in the dream.

If you don't plan ahead, you'll realize you're alone, you've lost too many things, and you have to run around like a nomad. This is also true for young people today. I've seen news reports about young people setting up stalls on the streets of Guangzhou. It seems that married people and couples also have problems. To understand yourself better, take the Inner Animal Archetypes test. Good luck!

In the context of dream interpretation, it is important to consider the contributions of Freud.

What are the four functions of Freud's dream?

1. Freud proposed the condensation effect of dreams. He believed that the meaning behind dreams is complex and that a single analysis may not fully capture the nuances of the dream. To gain a deeper understanding of the dream's meaning, it is necessary to conduct multiple analyses.

2. The shifting function of dreams: Freud postulated that the meaning behind some dreams differs from the original content of the dream. To illustrate, consider a dream in which a group of people, one of whom has a beard, is briefly glimpsed. The dream may signify that the dreamer envies such a beard and views it as a symbol of power and status.

It is evident that while the primary significance of this dream is associated with the beard, the beard itself represents only a minor aspect of the dream.

3. The symbolic function of dreams: Freud posited that the symbolic function of dreams is analogous to the symbols in fairy tales and literary allusions, all of which have a specific meaning. He also provided some examples, but because Freud espoused the view of the sexual instinct, the examples are all subjective. For example, he believed that long things all represent the male sexual organ, which carries a strong meaning of the sexual instinct.

4. Dreams also serve a corrective function, whereby the content of the dream can be compared with the source of the dream to yield new insights. While dreams are generally logical and reasonable, they can also manifest as highly unusual occurrences that challenge our thinking and ideas.

For instance, you may have a dream in which you are pursued by someone who is frantic and relentless. Upon analysis of the dream, you may find that there are no clues as to its meaning. In such a case, it may be helpful to consider the possibility that your recent anxious state of mind may have influenced the dream. This is an example of the corrective function of dreams, which can assist individuals in understanding their own state of mind.

2. The primary concepts of dream interpretation

1. In his seminal work, "The Interpretation of Dreams," Freud posited the existence of the subconscious mind and postulated that dreams serve as a conduit for its expression. He further proposed that the visual, auditory, and emotional elements of dreams are not mere coincidences but rather meaningful symbols. To illustrate, he suggested that dreams about long-lost friends may be a manifestation of the subconscious longing for such connections.

2. In his book, The Interpretation of Dreams, Freud also discussed the manifest and the latent aspects of dreams. The manifest aspect refers to the surface meaning of the dream, such as dreaming of eating ice cream. In contrast, the latent aspect refers to the underlying meaning of the dream. In this case, the dream may be a manifestation of a recent diet and the craving for sweets.

3. Freud also posited that dreams have four functions: condensation, displacement, symbolization, and correction. These functions contribute to the unpredictable and elusive nature of dreams. Understanding how dreams work specifically can help solve the mystery of every dream.

The meaning of a dream is unique to the dreamer and is dependent on their ability to make associations. Given the subjective nature of dreams, interpretations and explanations of dream imagery will vary from person to person.

It is therefore recommended that the questioner conduct their own analysis of the dream and identify the underlying meaning of the various objects and symbols.

I would like to express my gratitude to the questioner for sharing their dream with us. It takes a great deal of courage to describe one's dreams to others.

I would like to respectfully present the following dream, as shared by the questioner.

In a dream, I was operating a crane, planting a tree for the city's greening project. The tree had one root and two trunks, one larger and one smaller. The two tree heads had been cut flat, and the entire tree only had a few leaves. The tree was tall and a bit crooked, and the soil ball at the root was not too big.

If I might suggest, perhaps the tree could be lifted and set upright in the tree pit with the help of a crane, and the soil could be sealed and a circle made by the workers below.

In light of the dream information, it seems that the following associations could be considered:

1. The time of planting a tree, when all things return to life and grow.

2. Planting a tree is a significant step that involves leaving one's comfort zone and entering an unfamiliar environment. It's not without its challenges.

3. The tree being pruned may be seen as a way of ensuring its survival in a new environment and close relationship.

4. The tree has fewer leaves, less emotional understanding, is somewhat bent but still considered upright, and is undergoing the growth process of a personality. It is still upright, though perhaps not as upright as it could be.

5. After waking from a dream, in the process of reflection, you cover the soil, make circles, support it, water it, and nourish it, none of which you did in the dream. Could it be that some paths are destined to be taken alone?

It's a rather helpless situation. Could I inquire as to why it is mainly the tree top that is being pruned?

Three days after having this dream, the pruned tree stump brings to mind the importance of maintaining high social standards. It is possible that if one is overly concerned with meeting social standards, one might lose sight of one's individuality and self. This dream seems to be reminding me to strive for a balance.

It seems that the questioner may have some doubts.

If it isn't an inconvenience, I wonder if the teachers might be able to shed some light on whether there's anything else in this dream.

If I might offer some additional insight, the border of the dream is a process of planting trees. There are two scenes: one is the tree, and the other is you planting the tree. There are two aspects that you can explore in depth. You can re-experience the dream and, if you were the tree, recall what kind of feelings, thoughts, and sensations you had. On the other hand, I have a little understanding of the intention of the tree, and I hope to give the questioner some more direction for thinking, because you are considering the problems in the relationship. You may be thinking, "In heaven, I hope to be a pair of birds flying together; on earth, I hope to be a pair of branches growing together." In fact, what you may be saying is that your relationship with another person may be more about mutual support and help, and there is a sense of advancing and retreating together. This is the part below the surface of the earth, the part of the intimate relationship that is not understood by outsiders. Not being prepared for follow-up maintenance may be because you are not ready in your current state to deal with the problems that may arise in life. You think too much about it, and in reality it is difficult to have a lot of control.

The border of the dream is a process of planting trees. There appear to be two scenes: one is the tree, and the other is you planting the tree.

If I may suggest, there are two aspects that you might like to explore in depth. You could re-experience the dream and, if you were the tree, recall what kind of feelings, thoughts, and sensations you had.

On the other hand, I have a little understanding of the intention of the tree, and I hope to provide the questioner with some additional guidance for reflection, as you are contemplating the challenges in the relationship. You may be envisioning a state of being akin to a pair of birds flying together in heaven or a pair of branches growing together on earth. In essence, you may be suggesting that your relationship with another person is more about mutual support and assistance, and there is a sense of advancing and retreating together. This is the aspect that lies beneath the surface of the earth, the part of the intimate relationship that is not fully understood by outsiders.

It's possible that a lack of preparation for follow-up maintenance is a result of not yet being ready to address potential issues that may arise in life. It's understandable that you're dwelling on this, but it's important to recognize that having complete control is often challenging.

Or perhaps you hope that a relationship is superficially unrelated, but closely connected.

Additionally, the questioner displays a commendable level of self-awareness and exhibits a certain understanding of dream interpretation. It would be interesting to know if the questioner has had any formal training in dream interpretation.

When I read your dream, I got a sense that you're a thoughtful, highly sensitive person who loves life.

When you dream about planting trees, it can have both realistic and subjective influences.

Let's start by discussing my personal interpretation of your dream and see if it sparks any other ideas for you.

Your dream seems to show that you're thinking about reality and longing to explore the foundation of intimacy. It's linked to the dream, and it seems to depict a beautiful expectation of your future. The content of the dream includes planting trees, a tall, curved tree trunk, two trees, one large and one small, few leaves, the tree trunk being cut flat, and the use of a crane and workers to help seal the soil and make circles. These represent…

The tree represents growth and the fruit symbolizes future achievements.

Planting trees: There's an old saying that goes, "The best time to plant a tree was ten years ago; the next best time is now." It seems like your subconscious is telling you that now, with the intention of actively pursuing intimacy, is the best time to start planting the tree. With time and your careful cultivation, it will definitely flourish.

The trunk is curved and tall, which seems to symbolize a person's health and resilience.

[Two trees, one big, one small] You and your future partner, because you're just trying to get into the world of the opposite sex without a specific goal, you thought of using trees to represent the future you.

The growth process of a plant with few leaves includes the whole growth process of four stages: germination, leaf unfolding, flowering, and fruiting. Few leaves represent plants that have just been planted and are in the new germination period.

It represents a fresh start.

[The tree's top has been cut flat] The best time to prune trees is in the spring of each year, from March to April. This is when everything is coming back to life, so the temperature and humidity are more suitable for the trees to regain their health. When pruning the trees, you need to cut off the branches that are growing poorly so that they can grow stronger new branches in the year.

[Use a crane and workers to assist in piling soil and making circles] Human interaction, especially intimate relationships, is both philosophy and art. It grows through many elements of life, experiencing the complex whole of life: the environment, friends, family, beliefs, values, communication skills, empathy, money, etc. So planting trees and nurturing them requires borrowing tools and the assistance of many other people in order to bring them to their ideal flourishing appearance.

The overall takeaway is that when you're on the hunt for a long-term romantic partner, you start to imagine what your ideal partner looks like. You use trees and plants to symbolize your vision, welcome, and outlook on the new journey. You're willing to devote careful care and attention to it and will learn to grow together with your romantic partner and the way of intimacy.

Make the most of the sunny side of life.

The connection between dreams and the subconscious mind

Research shows that dreams are a shortcut to the subconscious mind, and that being aware of your dreams can help you change your destiny. Dreams can be bizarre and strange, or they can be colorful and beautiful. The subconscious mind influences us in countless ways, but it is also hard to understand.

So, what's the link between dreams and the subconscious?

Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis, believed that dreams are the result of repressed human desires. To explain further, we have many desires in our daily lives, some of which can be fulfilled, while others cannot be accepted by society or even ourselves for various reasons. In this case, these conscious thoughts are suppressed into the depths of the mind, thus becoming the subconscious.

At night, these subconscious thoughts come to the surface in the form of dreams. You could say that dreams are a shortcut to the subconscious.

Freud thought that the subconscious mind shows itself in dreams in different ways, "disguising" itself so that it's acceptable to human morality. There are two main ways dreams are generated: the minimization mechanism and the concretization mechanism. Your dreams are more in line with the concretization mechanism, which means that dreams can express abstract and difficult-to-understand content in a concrete form.

It's clear that dreams are a shortcut to the subconscious mind. Being aware of your dreams could even change your destiny, whether it's saving a relationship or maintaining physical and mental health. We should pay more attention to and analyze our dreams.

It's not just about my understanding of the dream. It's also about your interpretation of it. I see parts of your interpretation that align with mine, but I also see that you want to make changes, move on from your current situation, and start fresh. You'll understand each other better and adjust to the challenges you may face in the future. You may not have a lot of experience with emotional relationships, but you're willing to start from scratch and gradually learn and understand, filling in the gaps from your past experiences with a new perspective. The dream ends with the circle of soil, but you know in reality that after this, you have to support the tree, water it, and add nutrients, all of which are essential. This implies that you've taken the beautiful dream and brought it into real life, and you're ready to make it a reality.

I think this quote is a good fit for you:

You're the one who gets to decide what you want to create.

You can create whatever you want to create.

You are the architect of your own life.

From your description, I can discern a sense of importance, longing, and worry.

On the one hand, it was emphasized that the dream occurred at night after a meal with friends and a discussion about thoughts on intimate relationships with girls.

Conversely, recent evidence suggests that you have been planning to expand your horizons and gain a broader perspective on the world of relationships. This is a long-term project that you have been preparing for over an extended period of time.

This is why you linked the dream to your personal views on the subject and sought to gain further insight from it.

It is unclear whether this dream is related to your thoughts on female intimacy. However, it is evident that you are serious about moving beyond your personal world.

It is possible that the dream was caused by fatigue.

It appears that you believe you can utilize the dream energy to interpret the fluctuations in your intimate relationship.

Nevertheless, it is important to note that dreams do not necessarily reflect divination or prophecy, but rather reveal a person's subconscious.

It is important to note that not all dream content can be attributed to the subconscious. In some cases, the brain's overactive nerves due to fatigue may also contribute to dream imagery.

Given the comprehensive nature of your dream account, which includes specific details such as the construction unit, the time of planting the tree, the appearance of the sapling, and the process of planting the tree with a crane, it is evident that you have a keen observational ability.

It is challenging for an individual who has not directly participated in the act of planting a tree with a crane to provide a comprehensive account of the experience in a dream state.

Therefore, an alternative hypothesis is that the dream has no connection to the subject's thoughts about intimate relationships with women.

The dream may be a reflection of the physical and mental fatigue experienced during the day, which can affect the brain's ability to transition from active to relaxed states.

Therefore, the dream continues to depict the work scene from the day.

It is recommended that you offer yourself positive suggestions.

The conclusion of the dream has a profound impact on the dreamer.

In the dream's conclusion, the tree was not provided with the necessary support, irrigation, or fertilization. In reality, such a tree would be unlikely to survive.

The dream's content is perceived as a harbinger of solitude.

This notion is inherently pessimistic and functions as a psychological cue that may readily influence future behavior.

It is therefore evident that dreams are not a reflection of reality and are not a reliable indicator of future events. It would be prudent to allow more time and to have greater confidence.

It is important to recognize that the timing may not be optimal for such a venture. By embracing a positive outlook and offering constructive suggestions, it may be easier to achieve the desired outcome.

The interpretation of others by an individual reflects their own internal thoughts and beliefs.

Your interpretation of a woman's thoughts on intimacy is as follows: "Someone with sugar can save me in reality, as if there is a fantasy of perfection with you."

This reflects an interpretation of intimacy that is specific to the individual in question, rather than a reflection of the collective thoughts of women.

One might endeavor to discern whether the aforementioned thoughts have exerted an undue burden on the other individual, potentially contributing to the dissolution of the relationship.

I wish you the best of success!

Hello, landlord! I really hope my answer can be of some help to you.

First of all, being able to record your dreams so clearly and to perceive and reflect on them is a fantastic way to get to know yourself. You can continue this habit in the future. Dream interpretation can indeed help us understand ourselves through the expression of the "subconscious"—it's a great tool!

I'd love to hear your thoughts! For your reference:

This was a dream from a year ago, so it is a presentation of your subconscious from a year ago. Therefore, we get to put ourselves back in the state of a year ago! Because the current self has changed over the past year, some of the subconscious needs and desires may be different—and that's an exciting opportunity for growth!

This is something we need to be aware of, and it's a great thing to think about!

You had a fascinating chat with a friend on the day you had the dream and decided to embark on an exciting journey into the world of intimacy. Then, the dream showed you planting a tree with two trunks using a crane. The tree had one root and both tree heads were cut flat. The whole tree was still growing and had a few leaves, and it was tall but a bit crooked. The tree's soil ball was not too big.

I believe this tree with one root and two trunks symbolizes the amazing way your subconscious mind perceives intimacy. In your subconscious mind, the intimacy you show for each other is such that you can both draw nourishment from the same root!

The roots of a tree are the part of the tree that is buried in the soil. They are an important part of absorbing nutrients and symbolize past and initial growth. You can go back and think about your dream again. What were the roots like in the dream?

Absolutely! It can provide more than enough influence for the tree.

The roots also represent the origin of life, instinct, and survival, etc. They are a realm of instinct, unconsciousness, and sexuality. Then this part may symbolize the sexual unity and harmony you expect in an intimate relationship. I wonder if that's the case? It's an exciting possibility!

You mentioned that the tree's soil ball is not very large, which is a great indication that you feel you can bring even more nourishment to the relationship! It's clear that you need to continue absorbing and growing through your life together.

As I mentioned earlier, this tree with two trunks is a symbol of intimacy. What does it mean when one trunk is bigger and the other is smaller in a relationship? You can go and find out for yourself!

The trunk is the amazing conduit that connects the tree's crown to the ground. It's like a superhighway, carrying nutrients from the roots, which are firmly planted in the soil, to the crown, which soaks up the sun's energy. The trunk reflects not only a person's current energy and vitality, but also the support and strength they've received during their growth process. It's a truly remarkable structure!

The thickness of the trunk represents the vitality of the tree, and in terms of psychological symbolism, the trunk also has a clear internal correlation with a person's emotional functions, which is really fascinating!

So, going back to your dream, you can go and see which of the two tree trunks represents you and which represents the other person. This is actually a presentation of your subconscious mind, and you can look forward to a relationship that is like this, with one person having a little more energy and vitality than the other.

You also mentioned that the trunk is a bit bent. From a psychological perspective, a bent trunk has three fascinating symbolic meanings: happier emotions, possibly more active; more willful and self-centered; and comfortable in relationships. You can compare and contrast to see which one, or which ones, you are.

Let's look at the leaves again! You said that the tree in your dream only had a few leaves. What does this symbolize? From a psychological perspective, leaves represent the vitality of a tree. Lush leaves represent vitality and liveliness!

Fewer leaves represent a sense of loss of life, indicating weak vitality, insufficient energy, and possibly a relatively low mood.

This may indicate that you are not very confident in intimate relationships and have a relatively negative attitude. But don't worry! You can go and take a look to see if this is the case. In fact, this echoes your desire to reinforce the tree later.

You mentioned in your dream that you hung the tree up and set it upright in the tree pit, and workers sealed the soil and made a circle. After you woke up, you were still worried that even though the soil was sealed and a circle was made, it still didn't feel strong enough. You wanted to support the tree again to prevent it from being blown over by the wind, and you also wanted to water the tree. Just watering it wasn't enough; you also wanted to make nutrient solution for it. This shows that you really feel insecure and unsafe about entering this world of intimacy, and you're excited to gain more external support and backing!

And the tree being pruned? This is a fascinating symbol in psychology! It represents our level of acceptance of the status quo and our interpersonal relationships. It also describes our spiritual or intellectual development, our range of interests, the nature of our goals, and the people we satisfy. The tree being pruned indicates that we don't fully accept the status quo and we're not very happy with our interpersonal relationships. This probably symbolizes your intimate relationships, right?

So, finally, on the whole, I feel that you are looking forward to a beautiful, intimate relationship! And in the process, you need the help (support) of the people around you. When you dream, you are not very confident about the intimate relationship, and you still need a little more sense of security. But you also hope that you and your partner can share something in common (the same root) and also maintain independence from each other (two trunks).

We can understand our own subconscious through dreams, and thus see what state we are in. The great news is that you can figure out the details yourself, because we ourselves are the ones who know ourselves best. What we provide is just some reference, and we really hope it will be helpful to you!

Wishing you all the happiness in the world!

Good morning, questioner!

I commend you for exploring this topic.

I have always enjoyed reading books about dreams and have also had the opportunity to take a number of related courses. I would be delighted to offer you my perspective on how others interpret dreams.

I hope this provides a little inspiration and that we can explore it together.

1. Insights about dreams.

I think it's great that you have a habit of recording your dreams and reviewing them from a year ago.

I think it's great that you have a habit of recording your dreams.

It seems that you record your dreams.

You also review your dreams from a year ago.

I think it's a very commendable approach.

I believe that all the dreams a person has in a lifetime revolve around one thing and one question.

I believe there is only one theme in this life.

I believe that the greatest significance of a dream is its revelatory nature.

It seems that you had this dream because you are concerned about intimacy and are also exploring it.

You have already given this dream much thought and are open to exploring how it might be interpreted from my perspective.

(Naturally, this is merely my personal interpretation of the dream, which is inherently subjective.)

2. The imagery of the tree.

It is often thought that trees represent vitality.

Perhaps planting a tree is akin to what you mentioned, namely, establishing a brand new intimate relationship.

You are in control, as indicated by your driving a crane.

Perhaps there is also room for initiative.

If I might make a comparison, this tree has one root, two trunks, one larger and one smaller. Might I suggest that this resembles two people in a close relationship?

"Somewhat crooked but still upright" may suggest that the relationship is not yet perfectly aligned, but it will succeed because it is moving in the right direction.

In my dream, I saw that the tops of two trees had been cut flat. At the time, I wasn't thinking about high social standards. Instead, I felt that both people would need to make adjustments and that some of their sharp edges would need to be cut off to become one.

I believe this dream is also close to reality because newly planted trees all need pruning, and from what I have observed, many trees have their tops pruned.

I respect your perspective, but I have a different take on this. In my view, supporting a tree after planting it involves more than just covering the soil and making a circle. It also entails providing nourishment and care to ensure its survival. I believe that nurturing a relationship requires a similar approach. It's not just about covering the soil and making a circle. It's about providing support, care, and nourishment to help the relationship flourish.

I would gently suggest that this does not mean that you have to face it alone. Rather, it is these things behind it, such as how to nourish the relationship and allow the emotions to develop healthily, that require effort and learning.

For instance, in a relationship, it would be beneficial to provide support and attention to managing the relationship, just as one would do for a tree.

It would be unwise to assume that just because you have this tree, you can simply let it be. Rather, it is these things behind it, such as how to nourish the relationship and allow the emotions to develop healthily, that require effort and learning.

It's possible that the absence of this element in your dream suggests that you may not be investing sufficient time and energy into maintaining your relationship. It might be helpful to consider paying closer attention to it and learning from it.

It might be said that a mutually nourishing intimate relationship requires constant maintenance and care from the moment we establish it.

3. If I might offer a little personal advice:

I would be interested to know what your interpretation of this dream is now, a year later, and how it differs from your previous interpretation.

I wonder if you have tried to establish a close relationship this year?

Could I also ask whether you encounter tree planting in your daily life?

It may be helpful to view dreams as the subconscious expression of desires, intuitive insights, and judgments.

I believe that each of us has the capacity to be an expert in our own dreams. It may be helpful to recognize that our subconscious minds are full of infinite wisdom and potential.

I encourage you to gradually start believing in yourself.

Perhaps you could start by considering the emotions the dream evoked in you. It seems that you feel neither panic nor concern about the tree's survival. It's as if you have a subconscious belief in its ability to thrive.

You might consider what the earthen ball around the tree roots could represent.

Could it be that, despite the modest size of the soil, it is sufficient?

It might also be helpful to imagine what a dream continuation could be like. It could be like making a movie.

Perhaps this could be a way to get more inspiration from dreams.

If you would be so kind, please feel free to share these.

If you have a different idea, I would be grateful if you could let me know.

I hope this finds you well. Please accept my best regards.

In my dream, I was operating a crane, planting trees for the municipal government's amazing greening project on the North Fourth Ring Road in Zhengzhou. There was one tree, which had one root and two trunks, one larger and one smaller. The two tree heads had been cut flat, and the entire tree only had a few leaves. It was a tall, somewhat crooked tree, and the soil ball at the root was not too big.

I operated the crane to lift the tree and set it upright in the tree pit, and the workers below sealed the soil and made circles. Making circles means piling up a circular mound of soil around the tree roots to prepare for watering afterwards, so that the water doesn't run off. This is where the dream ends, and it's time to celebrate!

During the day, I had a blast chatting with friends. After that, I decided to dive into the world of intimate relationships and talk with my classmates about the current thoughts of most women on relationships. Then, I went to bed at night and had the most incredible dream about planting trees!

My associations with the dream are so inspiring! 1. The time to plant trees in the spring is also related to the green of spring when everything revives. It's a time of new beginnings and growth!

2. Planting a tree is an exciting step that marks a new beginning. While there's a chance the tree might not survive, that's part of the adventure. In my dream, I didn't feel this strongly about it, but in reality, nothing is certain — and that's part of the thrill!

3. The pruning of the tree trunk is associated with the thrilling opportunity to make changes to adapt to a new environment in order to thrive in a close relationship between a man and a woman, just as pruning branches to ensure the survival of the tree.

4. A tree with fewer leaves reminds me that I have so much to learn about emotions!

The trees, which were somewhat bent but still upright, were a wonderful reminder of the process of growing up. It was a journey that was less lacking in love but still upright!

5. When I woke up from the dream, I was amazed at how it ended! In real life, after covering the soil and making a circle, you also have to support the tree to prevent it from being blown over by the wind, as well as watering it and feeding it with nutrient solution. None of this was in my dream!

Could it be that some paths are meant to be traveled alone? I felt so helpless at first, but then I realized that I could do this on my own. Why was it mainly the tops of the trees that were pruned? This also left me a little confused, but I'm excited to find out more!

6. Three days after having this dream, the pruned tree trunk reminded me of the high social standards that require complete acceptance. Otherwise, individuality and self will be lost – but there's nothing wrong with that!

When I saw this dream recorded again a year later, I felt so much more for the situation faced by the transplanted tree!

I'd love to share this dream with the teachers! Is there anything else I can help with?

Faye Jackson Life is a rainbow of emotions.

This is such an interesting reflection on personal growth and relationships. It's amazing how dreams can intertwine with our waking thoughts and feelings. In your dream, the act of planting a tree could symbolize nurturing something new in your life, perhaps this new chapter in relationships you're about to embark on.
